Your personalised skin assessment and bespoke facial is created entirely around you and your skin goals. Each treatment begins with a professional assessment by our qualified skin therapist, taking the time to understand your skin, current routine and what you would like to achieve. Suitable for all skin types and ages, from 14 years to mature skin.

A bespoke selection of products from Lernberger Stafsing, Maria Åkerberg, Common Clouds, GLOWiD or Recipe for Men will be applied, either from one collection or thoughtfully combined for the best possible result. If new to any products or ranges, we take the time to educate you on what and how to use these products to achieve professional results at home.

Designed to feel deeply relaxing while still delivering visible benefits, this indulgent treatment works to restore balance, replenish the skin and support a healthy, luminous glow. You’ll leave feeling refreshed, cared for and beautifully radiant.

To conclude each treatment, Amelia will share with you a personalised skincare plan. This can guide your next purchase, or as you move through your current products. There is never any pressure to shop on the day, we just want to empower you with the best possible results for your investment.

When booking, we’ll ask you to share a few details to help us best prepare for your appointment. If it is your first facial with us, we’ll also ask you to complete a short consultation form so we can best understand your skin, concerns and goals. You can also guide us on which range you might like to focus on.

Please allow 60 minutes for your appointment, including a 45-minute facial.

We understand that circumstances can change. If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please provide as much notice as possible so we have the opportunity to offer your appointment time to another client.

Cancellations or rescheduling requests made with less than 24 hours’ notice will incur a fee of 50% of the service price. Missed or no-show appointments will be charged the full service price.

When more than 24 hours’ notice is provided, any amount already paid can be transferred to a rescheduled appointment.

Please arrive at our studio on time for your appointment. If you are late, we may need to shorten your service to avoid affecting subsequent client bookings. In these circumstances, the full service price will still apply.

We appreciate your understanding and respect for our specialists’ time.

HOW LONG IS THE APPOINTMENT?
Please allow 60 minutes for your appointment, including a 45-minute facial. The remaining time allows for your skin assessment, consultation and personalised skincare recommendations.


WHO IS THIS FACIAL SUITABLE FOR?
This facial is suitable for all skin types and ages, from 14 years through to mature skin. Every treatment is adapted to your skin, concerns and goals.


WHAT PRODUCTS WILL BE USED?
Amelia will select products from Lernberger Stafsing, Maria Åkerberg, Common Clouds, GLOWiD or Recipe for Men. Products may be chosen from one range or thoughtfully combined depending on what will best suit your skin.


CAN I REQUEST A PARTICULAR SKINCARE RANGE?
Yes. You can let us know when booking if there is a particular range you would like to experience. Amelia may also recommend combining products from different ranges to achieve the best result.


DO I NEED TO COMPLETE A CONSULTATION FORM?
First-time facial clients will be asked to complete a short consultation form before their appointment. This helps us understand your skin, current routine, concerns, goals and any relevant sensitivities.


SHOULD I ARRIVE WITHOUT MAKEUP?
You are welcome to arrive with or without makeup. Your skin will be thoroughly cleansed as part of the treatment.


CAN THE FACIAL BE ADAPTED FOR SENSITIVE OR REACTIVE SKIN?
Yes. Please share any allergies, sensitivities, recent reactions or skin conditions on your consultation form so Amelia can tailor the treatment appropriately.


CAN I HAVE THIS FACIAL WHILE PREGNANT OR BREASTFEEDING?
Yes. Please let us know when booking. Your treatment and product selection can be adjusted where needed, although you may wish to check with your healthcare provider if you have any specific concerns.


WILL I BE EXPECTED TO PURCHASE PRODUCTS?
No. There is never any pressure to purchase products on the day. You will receive personalised recommendations that you can use when you are ready or as you work through your current skincare.


WILL I RECEIVE A SKINCARE ROUTINE?
Yes. At the end of your appointment, Amelia will talk you through a personalised skincare plan designed to support your skin goals and help you make the most of your treatment results.

Amelia Wood, Skin Therapist

Amelia Wood is a New Zealand-qualified Skin Therapist with more than 20 years of experience caring for clients across London, Europe and New Zealand.

She holds internationally recognised CIDESCO and International Beauty Therapist’s Diploma qualifications, alongside advanced training in Holistic Skin Therapy and Advanced Skin Analysis.

Amelia believes healthy skin is a personal and ever-evolving journey. Her approach combines advanced techniques, modern technology and evidence-based cosmeceutical skincare, with every treatment thoughtfully tailored to each client’s skin, concerns and goals.

In 2026, Amelia joined The Skin Wardrobe team, where she offers in-depth consultations, advanced skin assessments, bespoke facial treatments and educational events within our Skin Studio. Her goal is to help every client better understand their skin and feel confident in achieving healthy, radiant results.

Exceptional experience.

I booked a bespoke facial with Amelia after my skin had flared up from a recent cold and desperately needed some love. I usually hate facials — I can’t stand my face being touched — but Amelia changed that instantly. She was gentle, friendly, and made me feel relaxed the moment she began. I clicked with her straight away.

Throughout the treatment, Amelia customised every step, checked in with me, and chose products that truly suited my skin - most of which were already in my skin wardrobe at home due to Catherine’s recommendations over the years I’ve been a client. It felt like Amelia understood exactly what my skin needed. By the end, my skin was calmer, hydrated, less reactive, and genuinely glowing — the best it has felt in a long time.

I also loved the seamless handover to Catherine. Amelia talked her through what she’d done, and Catherine confirmed that the products I already use from The Skin Wardrobe — many of which were used in the facial — were perfect for my skin. She recommended a couple of things to try next time, with absolutely no pressure to buy anything on the spot.

Catherine herself was warm, knowledgeable, fun, and reassuring. The makeup she applied afterwards made me feel refreshed, pampered, and honestly gorgeous. I left feeling like the best version of myself.

The whole experience was exceptional — thoughtful, personalised, and delivered by two women who clearly care about their clients. I can’t recommend The Skin Wardrobe enough.

The best investment (time and $!)

I am a long term customer of TSW - so it was exciting to see facial treatments added! Amelia and Catherine are the dream team. Amelia was so knowledgeable in her analysis of my skin - and agree has magic hands. Even as a longtime user of Lernberger Stafsing, I still got added skin results from using the Volcanic Exfoliator in a new way. Also Amelia added steam to the facial which deepened my results. Those two things alone were a game changer. She also gave me tips on how to do more at home. I really appreciate her honesty and knowledge. I had an event the next evening and my skin was still glowing - lots of comments. Will come back as I understand she is adding more to her offering for returning clients. More than 5 * experience!
